Our Strategy
Our strategy to mobilize is simple. After we speak at your church, school, business or event, we invite you to join us in a pre-planned service project that will take place in your community. In our travels, we have found that people have a desire to serve, but often face obstacles.
- They do not know where to get involved
- They lack the time to plan a service project.
- They are held back by fear.
However, we have seen when we invite people to join us in a serving; all three of these barriers are removed. Our desire is to impact the community, create a heart change in those that serve, as well as support local ministries. The long-term goal is to see communities transformed as a result of people identifying their passion and putting it into action.
Service Projects
We seek to connect people who join us with ministries and non-profits who are already impacting their communities. Each project will vary depending on the needs in the community. We believe the more relational each project is the more impactful it will be both for those who serve as well as those who are served. Our hope is that the service project will act as a catalyst to awaken something in those who volunteer and that in response they will be ignited to continue to serve their community on an on-going basis. Each service project includes a time of de-briefing to share experiences and to discuss what we learned as a result of our service.
P2A Groups
Once someone has been through the P2A small group study, our hope is that they continue to serve in their area of passion on an on-going basis. One time service projects are a tool to awaken people, but transformation takes place when individuals are committed to long-term service. P2A Groups consist of people who are committed to meeting together and volunteering in their community. The meetings will be a place of encouragement and a time to plan powerful service events that can help to transform a community. To start a Passion to Action group click here.
