While we were in Rancho Cucamonga, CA we stayed with a generous couple named Claudio and Gina Medina. Gina shared with Beth how she does tea parties with the elderly and shut-ins. She is using her gift to serve others and developing relationships at the same time.
Beth’s good friend Crista Walton decided to fly out to Colorado so Beth and her could get some time together. Crista’s daughter Britney and Bekah are best friends. We decided not to tell Bekah that Britney was coming and here is what played out when they saw each other. Truly epic! BTW, I know that word is overused but it is so fun to say!
About a month ago we got to spend some time at Huntington Beach. Ben put together this video from our time there.
On Sunday, December 12th we joined forces with Skip 1 in Ventura, CA to help them pack homeless gLOVE packages to benefit invisiblepeople.tv. Together with roughly 100 people we packed over 300 care bags to give to the homeless.
We had an amazing day on Saturday, October 23rd working with Set Free Church on Skid Row. Almost 100 people from The Vine Church came down to paint the common areas of Set Free’s new building. Check out the video to see a re-cap of the day.
On Saturday, October 23rd we will be working together with The Vine Church and Set Free Ministries on Skid Row. We will be painting the common areas at Set Free and providing a barbecue for those who have served as well as anyone who desires to come off of the streets to join us.
